Desciption

The CIM 3000-S is a universally usable machine for automatic personalization and checking of plastic cards (54 x 86 mm, ISO 7810/7813), as specified by the customer. Up to five different personalization or checking stations may be integrated with the machine, each with a computer connection. Within a single run, the cards – lying on a conveyor belt – successively undergo the installed procedures.

For personalization with the help of the machine the following methods are adequate:

• Laser engraving
• Ink Jet printing (also for barcodes)
• RFID encoding
• Chip encoding

For checking personalizations, the corresponding readers may be installed. If their computer detects an error the card will be sorted out of the series of good cards by the machine and stacked into the bad cards magazine.

The devices and their driver software should be provided by the customer, but could also be delivered by us on request.

Another station can be equipped with an opto-electronic image acquisition and processing system to verify a perfect quality of surface and printing.

An inspection machine specialized solely in the optical inspection is offered as type CIM-3000. That machine comes with a built-in image acquisition and processing system including the checking programs.
